The project idea is to offer to the countries interested to develop their own agro-industrial field, the management of the Agrofood portal, translated in local language.
This means that every country will have the Italian food system database so, the local team could interact in real time and without intermediaries, with all subjects of the Italian agro-industrial system subjects.
The contractual task of Agrofood Italy will be simply to update and expand the database and, if required, to provide for operational assistance in Italy.
The implementing Agrofood team of each country will be able to provide significant cognitive, technical and operational support to:
local institutions concerned with development programs, promoted by international cooperation, also.
local entrepreneurs and traders interested in contacting one or more operators of the Italian agro-industrial system.
The implementation of Agrofood is independent of the Internet spread of the concerned country because the web will serve the local team mainly, for real time sendind of user's demands to one or more actors of the Italian agro-industrial system.
The Agrofood Cooperation project was deposited to the Register Office
of Massa Marittima (Italy) on 22th December 2005, under act no. 1424/3
